Who it's for

One dataset.
Three ways to use it.

Scout is built for wheel & tyre distributors. You bring the catalogue; we turn fitment into a single trusted source your dealers, your websites, and your team all work from.

The customer

Distributors & wholesalers

Get your wheel and tyre catalogue in, then own one curated fitment dataset across every brand you carry. Your reps stop fielding "will it fit?" calls — the answer is on a screen.

What distributors get
The end users

Workshops & dealers

Your dealers log in and check what fits the car in front of them — wheels and tyres, factory through big builds. Spot something wrong at the bay? They flag it, and a curator sorts it.

Brand & marketing sites

Power your own brand sites from Scout's private API. Stable slugs, predictable JSON, cache-friendly — build the fitment pages your customers see without rebuilding the data behind them.

Flag what's wrong.

The app your distributor's dealers and counter staff log into — wheels and tyres, every generation, factory through big builds. Phone at the bay, tablet at the counter, desktop at the desk. One responsive web app, no native install.

Star the vehicles you sell into.

Dealers add the generations they fit most — Hilux, Ranger, 79 Series, whatever walks through the door. Scout pings them when a fit moves: new Big Fit, updated offset, a fresh tyre size, a curator's note. Never quoting yesterday's data.

03 · Flag it

Spot something off? Flag it.

When the bay sees a rub the page didn't warn about, the dealer flags it — reason, note, photo. A curator reviews against the source and the fix lands for every business on the shared dataset, not just one. The data gets better the more it's used.

For distributors & wholesalers

Your catalogue in.
Your channel, powered.

Bring the wheels and tyres you stock; Scout turns scattered fitment into one curated source your whole channel runs on.

Get your catalogue in

Feed your wheel and tyre SKUs in by adapter or one-shot import. Nothing goes live unreviewed — incoming changes stage for a curator to confirm, so a feed glitch never publishes a wrong fit.

Power your brand sites

A private, read-only JSON API serves the curated data straight to the marketing sites you already run. Stable slugs, versioned, cache-friendly with ETags — build the fitment pages, we keep the data honest.

Genuinely detailed fitment

Anchored on the vehicle generation: stud pattern, offset ranges, centre bore, factory / good / big pathways, rolling diameter, and the mods each setup needs — for wheels and tyres alike. Not a spreadsheet dump; a model of what actually fits.

Gets better as it's used

Several businesses contribute to and consume one shared corpus. A correction from a dealer at the bay improves the data for everyone — and every field carries its source, so you always know where a fit came from.

The bar

Approved fitments
are right.

Coverage and speed matter. They sit underneath correctness. When Scout isn't sure, Scout doesn't propose — and every fitment that goes live has a curator's name on it. That's the whole product, not a marketing line.

Every Live Fitment approved by a human curator. No silent forks, no auto-publish, no "we'll review it later."

Wheel and tyre brands covered out of the box — and growing every time a distributor brings their catalogue in.
Every fit is traceable.
Who approved it, when, against what source. The audit trail is the product.
Honest about Big Fit.
Body lift, trim guards, backspacing limits — spelled out where you can see them, never buried.
Our fitment lived in six spreadsheets and a rep's head. Scout put it in one place our dealers log into and our brand sites pull from the same API. The flags coming back from the bay made the data better than anything we'd have built on our own.

The stuff you'd ask on a call

Straight answers.
No marketing fluff.

Anything not covered here? Ask us directly.

Can I get my own catalogue in?
Yes — that's the point. We ingest your wheel and tyre SKUs via a per-brand feed adapter or a one-shot import. Incoming changes stage as suggestions for a curator to confirm, so nothing wrong ever auto-publishes to your dealers or your sites.
Is there an API for our websites?
Yes — a private, read-only JSON API per consumer token. It's versioned with stable, permanent slugs and ETag/Last-Modified caching, so the brand sites you build against it don't break when curators rename things. The API is the contract.
Do my dealers need an invite?
During the quiet beta, yes — access is invite-only and we onboard distributors one at a time. Once you're set up, your curators and dealers log in under your business. Send the form and we'll come back within a business day or two.
Can I actually trust the fitments?
Every Live Fitment is approved by a human curator before it lands on your screen. Not a single fit ships unreviewed — Scout's Suggestions propose, the curator disposes. If you want to see the audit trail, click the fitment and it's all there.
What happens after I flag something?
A curator picks it up inside 48 hours, reviews against the source data, and updates the page if you're right. You get the reply with the change attached. If you weren't right, you still get a reply — with the reason.
Do you cover tyres as well as wheels?
Both, first-class. Tyres are catalogued the same way wheels are — brand, model, size, load and speed rating — and a generation's approved tyre fitments sit right alongside its wheel fits. Out of the box you'll see brands like American Outlaw, Dirty Life, Mayhem and Raceline on the wheel side and Toyo, BFGoodrich, Maxxis, Nitto and Cooper on the tyre side, growing as distributors onboard.
What devices does it work on?
One responsive web app. Phone at the bay, tablet at the counter, desktop at the desk — no native install, no separate counter UI, no app store wait.
Which markets are you in?
AU and NZ for v1. Other markets sit on the roadmap behind getting these two right.
